Built to be read by anyone
This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. Where it falls short, we would rather know than not.
Statement prepared 4 September 2026 · based on our own review, not a third-party audit
What we have done
- Every colour in the palette was measured against the dark background. The lowest ratio on the site is 4.8 to 1, above the 4.5 to 1 the standard asks for.
- The whole site works from the keyboard, in a sensible order, with a visible focus ring and a skip link to the main content.
- Headings run in order on every page, form fields all have real labels, and images carry descriptions.
- The animated field on the home page is hidden from assistive technology and described in text instead. If your system asks for reduced motion, it stops moving and no symbol appears.
- Text reflows to a narrow screen without a horizontal scrollbar, and stays readable when you enlarge it.
- Nothing depends on colour alone, nothing flashes, and nothing moves on a timer you cannot escape.
Where we know it is imperfect
- The site is dark by design, with no light mode. That is a deliberate choice about the product, not an oversight, and we know it does not suit every reader. Your browser's own reader mode and high-contrast settings work on every page.
- The animated field is decorative. It is described, but the description is a summary, not an equivalent.
- We have not commissioned an independent audit. This statement is our own assessment.
