The Instrument

A director's day, in two gravities

ORAI has two modes and the switch between them is a ritual, not a toggle. You think in one and you make in the other, and the film is the same film in both.

Creative OS

Thinking. Cool, low gravity, wide. The story is loose, the field is quiet, nothing is spent. This is where a film is still an argument with itself.

AI-Hybrid

Making. Warm, precise, close. Decisions bind, costs are shown before they are incurred, and the print is exact. This is where the film becomes a thing that exists.

The surfaces

Each one does one thing for the film

The Story Clock

The screenplay drawn as a clock — every scene a tick, acts as sectors, the health of the story readable at the centre. Turn it and the same clock shows the film as sound: who speaks in every scene, taken from the film's own recording guide.

The Hybrid Ledger

Every scene marked live, generated, or a blend — read from the script's own declarations, never inferred behind your back. A proposal is drawn differently from a decision you made, so a guess can never dress itself as a choice.

The Director

Type what the film is. ORAI plans the scenes, the cuts and the timings so they sum exactly to your target length, then boards it frame by frame. Nothing is spent until you approve the cell in front of you.

Casting & Voice

Each character carries their look, their designed voice, and every line they speak. The recording guide travels with the person, so a cast change is a cast change everywhere at once.

The Negative & the Frequency Instrument

Picture and sound as instruments rather than filters: a single look the whole film is shot through, and a sound world tuned to the film's own grid. The print is a contract — the same input renders the same result, every time.

Director Council

Several creative perspectives on one scene, rendered as a living field whose agreement and tension you can see rather than read. You are not given an answer. You are shown where the disagreement is.

Rescue My Film

A diagnosis of a film in trouble: how complete it is now, how complete it is projected to become, and the ranked path between those two numbers.

The field

Intelligence here is a field, not a face

There is no assistant in ORAI. No avatar, no chat bubble, no persona to be charmed by. The intelligence is a constellation that behaves differently depending on what it is doing — listening, understanding, working — and you read its state the way you read a room.

When something means something, a symbol emerges from the field and then dissolves back into it. It is never wallpaper. If a mark is on the screen, something happened.

The constellation at rest: a sphere of fine points, breathing, listening.

Cost

Everything demonstrates without spending a cent

Every surface runs on seeded data so you can learn the instrument before you pay for a single frame. When you do generate, the cost is shown before it is incurred, not after. Live playback may approximate; the print is exact and repeatable.
